I'm quite encouraged by the possibilities of WSL2. Is WSL3 the one where
they quietly retire the NT kernel and replace it with a wrapper around a
Linux kernel?  :)

Even now, in a horrible, locked down Corporate Win10 desktop, we have
Powershell which has an almost proper ssh with some of its tools and with
things like scp.

Windows. It's the Linux of the future.
