FWIW, earlier this year I picked up a Zotac MAG[1] box for use as a
XBMC system. Like the ASRock, it's a nVidia ION 330-based system.

Cons:
- No built-in IR receiver
- No optical drive (wasn't a problem for me and helps keep it small)
- A bit noisier than I'd like (I haven't tried tweaking any PM settings yet)
- No built-in Bluetooth, but it's easy and cheap to add a transceiver

Pros:
- Size
- Cost (~$435, including HP OEM media centre remote)
- Everything else

I'm running the XBMC Live distro on it.
