Don't know how many others are running Ubuntu Netbook Remix (UNR)
on their Jaunty netbooks, but my experience has been somewhat less
than satisfactory (maybe I need to look into the configuration a
bit more...)

Main problem was that I am editing and testing an OpenOffice.Org
Impress presentation (for tonight's PSIG meeting...) and it looks
like OpenOffice.Org is not wanting to play nicely with the funky
window manager in UNR. So, when switching apps, the screen would
show only the background image until I started moving the mouse
over various widgets that would then magically re-appear.

Steve Hanley found that I could run the "desktop-switcher" from
the command line to restore the desktop back to "classic", where
everything behaves a lot better...
