I'm a single individual, so what I do is quite probably different to what
you would feel comfortable doing. I'm on a few all-female and mostly-female
lists, though, and as a general rule we still stick to gender-neutral terms.
The appropriate word varies depending on the situation, and quite often it's
just not required. If you're uncertain, write something different.

Instead of saying "Could any of you blokes help me out?", why not say "Could
anyone on the list help me out?"

Let's all try and be just a *little* bit inclusive, shall we?
