Well, I for one made the move to Linux and FOSS (and CLUG) because my
mates said that's where all the hot babes were.

Yep, that one worked *real* well...

series trying too get the twisty touch screen stylus thingy to work
proper so I can carry it around like a clipboard and impress the hell
out of peole...)
