On the subject of point and click versions, there is now this thingo:

It is very pretty and has nautilus integration and the likes, I
suspect we will see it as the or an integrated backup doo-hicky in
Intrepid Ibis.

Seems like it would be great for the "mum and dad" linux newbie.
