Yet Another St George Internet Banking Post

Probably old news to most, but User Agent Switcher 0.6.6
 just gave me my best and worst internet banking this year.

Base platform:  Suse9.3,  Firefox 1.0.4,
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_03-b07)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_03-b07, mixed mode, sharing)

Ran firefox as root and installed User Agent Switcher
Quit firefox and restarted it as me.

Right clicked on the menubar and chose "Customize".
Dragged the User Agent icon onto the menubar.

Worst experience yet:
Pulled down the User Agent Switcher, shuddered and chose
	Internet Explorer 6 (Windows XP)
Logged in OK but loading the java app crashed firefox completely.


Best yet (worked perfectly)
Chose Opera.


Future experiments,
 find out what Firefox on MacOSX says (it works)
 and try that as an even more palatable attribution.

Wishes,
 a version of User Agent that lets me set
 what to say to extra special (ly dumb) sites.
