I don't see Linux HID being a topic that could interest more than two people 
at the same time....
Tips:
Keep away from Boot Protocol (HIDBP).
Turn on hiddev and hid input. I think there is an explanation in the 
Documentation/usb/hiddev.txt file in your kernel tree.
