divx support is unlively on anything but x86.
avifile is a clever hack that uses the windows/i386 codec binaries
with a winelib layer wrapped around it.

of course you could run it under bochs :-)

Essentially it's the QT/Sorenson problem from the other side.
You _could_ try running MOL and Mac software that uses WMP libraries
