This problem was reported earlier in August. I can reproduce the same error when running Allen's test program in --> http://lists.samba.org/pipermail/jcifs/2002-August/002433.html I did not find any resolution for this issue. I'm using Java 1.4.0_02, jcifs 0.5.1 and running tests against share in Windows 2000 RC1. Thanks Nizam
