[ccache] error

Hi 

It is the first time I install samba.I followed the instructions on how to
install guide but when I execute the command  '' ./configure''  it displays
the following: 

 

Checking for gcc.no

Checking for cc.cc

Checking for C compiler default output .configure:error: C compiler connot
create executables.

 

I'm installing samba 3.0.2 on solaris 8.0.also I want to know if this
version of Sama works with Solaris 9.0 or not.

Please provide me with your advise.
