Questions about 3.0.21 release

I have few question about the latest release.
I hope this is the correct mailing list to ask these questions.
 
1. The release note says: "Incompatibilities with newer MS Windows hotfixes"
- What windows hotfixes are related here ?
2. Where can I get more info about the NTLMv2 complete support, compared to
what we had until 3.0.14
3. what are the "winbindd auto-detection query methods" ?
