The problem you mentioned on IRC with win2000 join/login to Samba4
seems to be in 2 parts. I don't yet know why there is a long delay
during the join, but I have found out why the login fails. For some
reason the 'ServicePrincipalName' ldap attribute is not being created on
the machine account for a win2000 join, but is being created for a
join to the same domain from WinXP. Without that attribute the
negotiate stage of the login fails, as the krb5 server fails to find
the account.

I'll keep looking at it, unless Andrew Bartlett works it out first :-)
