Agreed, but we have to live with them.

False. Look at the detailed view of XP explorer. True, nobody understands what
is really going on, but it's there.

Here I simply disagree. I think having a text format exposing the full ugliness 
might make us finally understand what's going on. The latest point where we
*NEED* this is when we steal the NT acls on files from Samba4. So why introduce
a different format now?
