Using Cisco's Aironet 350 with Zoom IG-4165

Hello,

I'm currently in the process of getting a RH 7.3 Linux box to communicate with
a Zoom IG-4165 access point. The box is fitted with a Texas Instruments PCI1410
Pc card Cardbus Controller and a Cisco Aironet 350 pcmcia card. I don't have
that much expirience with wireless stuff, but I think I'm only one step away
from communication...

I didn't use the Linux driver disk that came with the pcmcia card, because the
modules are already included in the RH 7.3 distibution. I did however install
the wireless tools (iwconfig, iwlist, iwspy, etc.) using an RPM. The Cisco
utillities are not of any use to me, because I don't run X, I only use console
mode.

The card is inserted with `cardctl insert 0`, and then recognised. The module
airo_cs is loaded, and an attempt is made to get an ip adres from the dhcp
server in the access point. The problem lies there: the client doesn't recieve
a response.

On the other hand, I do think the card is correctly set-up,
because /proc/driver/aironet/eth0/* gives me real-time information, like the
signal strength...

I know the card will work with the access point, because an other computer
running Windoze doesn't have problems.

So, does anyone have a clue what I should change in order to get this stuff
working? I tried fidling with the /etc/pcmcia/wireless.opts script, and made
a /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 script myself... I don't think the
problem lies there though...

Please reply directly to me, as I'm not able to subscribe to the mailing list.
