it. And I believe you. I also have a Symbol Spectrum24
card and it does not work with hostap. Incidentally, I
also tried this card using orinoco drivers from
pcmcia-cs-3.1.33 and 34. What happened is that the
orinoco modules were raised, the device was raised,
but I can't ping from any end. My "iwconfig" result
for the device is:

Notice my AP address which is 00:00:00:00:00:00. What
else can I do to make this card work? Btw, I'm using
2.2.19 and wireless_tools.23.tar.gz.
I'm also trying out Spectrum24t-1.03a.tar.gz, but
having no luck with it yet (on a 2.2.19).
