Canberra Wireless Area Network

Greetings Earthlings,

I'm keen to connect to the Canberra Wireless Area
Network (Northside)-(http://www.air.net.au) and was
wondering what stage the network was in. Is it ready
for people to connect too? Do we need better antennae?

My network to be is 192.168.13.0/24
