Orinoco Silver on Suse (2.4.10 kernel)

Not sure if this will help but:
I just upgraded my wireless router to use release
11b orinoco_cs drivers. no kernel rebuild required.
I'm running Suse 7.3 which is a 2.4.10 kernel WITH
kernel drivers -however- in the /etc/rc.config.d/
directory there is a pcmcia rc file that allows me to
configure the system to use either the kernel drivers
-or- the external (pcmcia-cs pkg) drivers. I have
it configured to use the external drivers.
What I did was to download the 11b orinoco drivers.
Compile them and copy them to
/lib/modules/<kernel>/pcmcia-external
I then restarted the pcmcia services
/etc/init.d/pcmcia restart
I was then running the 11b driver.
One more thing,
if you get a message about the card services not
maching the driver or some other bs, just update
the version.h file in the kernels include/pcmcia
directory to match the release you are running
and recompile the 11b drivers.
