Are you prepared to loosing packets while sleeping? Ad-hoc demo mode
does not implement packet buffering for sleeping stations like IEEE
802.11 BSS or IBSS..

I haven't tested doing this on Lucent cards, but at least with Interil
Prism2 cards this is possible by setting the baseband processor to sleep
mode.
