Orincoco on StrongArm

I use this (orinoco + pcmcia Prism II Compaq WL100) every day and there is
no longer any hacking required in the latest kernels (eg 2.4.17-rmk5) with
respect to structure packing. This was all fixed a few months ago. If you
aren't particularly uptodate kernel wise I suggest upgrading. Note that
2.4.17-rmk contains 0.8a orinoco code so you might want to move up from
there. I don't know what a XI-825 is so I may be talking out of my hat.
