orinoco_cs and DWL 650 PCMCIA

I've recently attempted to make the move to the orinoco_cs driver for my
DWL 650.  To this point, I've been using the pre-2.4.5 wvlan_cs patches
from RedHat's kernels.

Now, with /etc/pcmcia/config set to bind orinoco_cs to the DWL_650, I
get the following errors on card insert:

kernel: eth0: Error -110 writing packet header to BAP
kernel: eth0: Tx error!

Any advice?  The wvlan_cs driver works with this card, but I'm hoping to
get more control and/or better performance with the orinoco driver.
