Can see Linux box, but no shares from windows

I actually did get it working
It looks like I had forgotten to make a password

I also used a new clean smb.conf that someone had sent me and it worked
perfectly... Only thing left was to set the permissions on the directory...

So now I have a very basic install set up. With very basic permissions and I
will move from there to learn more.

Thanks to all who offered suggestions.
