I think this problem is not new, but I can't find solution anywhere.

I use SAMBA 2.2.8 on Solaris as PDC. Try to use my Windows 2000 Professional
laptop to log on to the SAMBA server as a domain user.

I succeessfully join the domain after long wait. But I can't finish domain
logon.
I checked the SAMBA log, it seems that the received stream misses a domain
and user name:

2003/04/30 14:57:04, 3] smbd/reply.c:(880)
  Domain=[]  NativeOS=[Windows 2000 2195] NativeLanMan=[Windows 2000 5.0]
[2003/04/30 14:57:04, 3] smbd/reply.c:(890)
  sesssetupX:name=[]

When I logon using laptop local account, I can connect to SAMBA by directly
typing the SAMBA netbious name. (This time my name is here, with Domain = my
laptop netbios name)

2003/04/30 14:57:04, 3] smbd/reply.c:(880)
  Domain=[LAP201]  NativeOS=[Windows 2000 2195] NativeLanMan=[Windows 2000
5.0]
[2003/04/30 14:57:04, 3] smbd/reply.c:(890)
  sesssetupX:name=[wxu]

Anybody any idea?

RayX
