[Samba] DFS questions...

Hi Kees,
Thanks once more. To be precise:
- you are running this on DCs?
- no links required as on the wiki page?
- "vfs objects = dfs_samba4, acl_xattr, full_audit" - I don´t have that in my smb.conf. What part(s) of this are default, required, or special?
Thanks,
Joachim

DFS works fine for me with 4.17 and 4.18.

In smb.conf [global] you get "vfs objects = dfs_samba4, acl_xattr, full_audit"

And per DFS-share:

[share]
msdfs root = yes
msdfs proxy = \<server1>\<share>,\<server2>\<share>

With these settings you can point your clients to \\<domain>\<share>
