To a certain extent this depends on how you are running Samba, if you 
are running it as a Unix domain member with 'security = ADS' in smb.conf 
and are using a recent version of Samba (which you should be), then you 
have to use winbind.

As for supporting centrify, this again depends on what you mean by 
'support'. If you mean does centrify work with Samba, then presumably 
yes, but I wouldn't know, I have never used it. If you mean, does Samba 
provide support for the use of centrify with Samba, then, no, Samba does 
not, because it isn't a Samba product. Your only hope for support is if 
their is a centrify user reading this and is prepared to offer you 
support, otherwise you will have to get support from centrify, or 
delinea as it is now called.
