I need to explain a few problems unrelated to Samba that are why my
Samba Domain is the way it is:

Electricity is expensive where I live, I don't have Solar Panels on my
roof. The one DC I have running consistently, is usually the only
computer I keep online most of the time.

That computer wears many hats, providing multiple services I use, like
NextCloud. The reason for running Bind 9 was so that a Samba Failure
would not cripple DNS Resolution to the wider network. I keep two
"spare" DCs in reserve for emergencies. They are off most of the time,
until I want to make changes to them.

The idea was going to be to move to Bind DLZ eventually.

This corruption issue is a recent thing.
