[Samba] Demote/Promote Samba DC

Looking more carefully, I saw it was seeing itself as the DC to use for the
domain join. I stopped the samba-ad-dc service and cleared the .tdb files
and now when I try again I get this error:

itadmin at dc11:~$ sudo samba-tool domain join internal.kcs DC
-U"internal\administrator"
INFO 2021-04-20 16:08:23,787 pid:763
/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/samba/join.py #107: Finding a writeable DC
for domain 'internal.kcs'
ERROR: Failed to find a writeable DC for domain 'internal.kcs': The object
name is not found.

I demoted it because I was having trouble resolving names in the local
domain. I'm guessing this means it still cannot do so.

Is there anything obvious I can try or should I just wipe the server and
start again?
