[Samba] Change in behaviour for the "%U" substitution in 4.10.8?

Believe me, I'm as confused as you are - the fact the same config file works with 4.10.7 and breaks with 4.10.8, even though that's release is probably the smallest changelog between releases for a long time, is baffling to me!
