We have a samba with only IPv4 and now I set up IPv6 (Dual stack) on our network.
It works for DNS entry (AAAA)
For reverse zone, it works (PTR) but samba-tool query prints only the first character of reverse zone (suffix) :

root at smb1:~# samba-tool dns query localhost 0.a. @ PTR -Uadministrator
Name=, Records=0, Children=0
Name=f, Records=0, Children=1
It works with dig command :
dig -x fdd0:9504:be20:a0:fffc::50 @ +noall +answer
; <<>> DiG 9.10.3-P4-Ubuntu <<>> -x fdd0:9504:be20:a0:fffc::50 @ +noall +answer
;; global options: +cmd 10800 IN PTR centreon.alkante.al.
For administrate reverse zone, it is possible to print all entries with samba-tool ?
