[Samba] samba 4.5.12 DC and XP

Just to hopefully clarify the original question..

- Is this something that you have had working previously, and has now
stopped working?
or
- Is this something that has never worked, and you are trying to get
working for the first time?

If it is the second, then I would look into how XP clients deal with drive
mappings on logon.. there might be some helpful information here:

If it is the first one, then we need to find out what has changed since it
last worked OK.
