[Samba] Authentication MD5

Do you mean windows PC's will join the samba domain but samba will 
access and MD5-based password repository?  (Assuming other apps would 
also access that MD5 repository.)

Or do you mean that MD5-enabled applications would use Samba domain 
controllers /directory servers for authentication ?

Assuming you are using Samba 4 as an AD server, not classic server?
