Hi.
I downloaded the the "Remote Server Administration Tools" but whenever I want to add the group policy snap in I get the subject error message even though I am logged in as domain admin on the client work station.
System(s):
* CentOS 6.7 (all latest patches except samba due to one XP machine I have to keep due to legacy software, but not long!)
* Clients are all Windows 7 bar 1 (all latest patches)
* samba.x86_64 3.6.23-20.el6 configured as domain, security = user
As I am not 100% sure where the error is I am not sure what other details to provide, I will provide if requested to do so.
I am certain, however, that the user is a "Domain Admin" and added to the local "Administrators" group. When installing/changing anything on the workstations I can use that user to do so and it is happily accepted.
This used to work a couple of years back when it was all XP, I did not have to use it for a while as everything was settled and steady.
Please help!
Thanks
Jobst
