But, What do you mean with "correct dns / dns domainname /wins
settings"?

In my lan with a samba PDC 3.6.x now I must change the windows registry
settings, the DNS/DHCP is not the PDC but the firewall.

Is this the cause for which I needs to change the registry ?

Anyway I have setup correct the record A and PTR of the PDC host and
all LAN client for my domain.

There are some other things I need to consider ?
