Hello,

I have encountered withthe following issue. I can't create any user

# smbldap-useradd -a -m -A 0 -g 1031 testuser
/usr/sbin/smbldap-useradd: illegal username

In the samba log I see the following messages

Apr 28 12:02:51 pdc winbindd[2825]: [2015/04/28 12:02:51, 0]
winbindd/idmap_ldap.c:471(idmap_ldap_allocate_id)
Apr 28 12:02:51 pdc winbindd[2825]: Cannot allocate gid above 900000!

idmap backend = ldap:"ldap://127.0.0.1/"
idmap uid = 50000-900000
idmap gid = 50000-900000

I have raised values up to 9 000 000 and restarted smb/winbind daemons. But
still can't create any users.

Is there any workaround? Do I need to clean some cache file in
/var/lib/samba?

P.S.
samba-3.4.17-1, CentOS 5 i686

Thanks in advance
