[Samba] Intermittent failure

The problem is not here: this appears only because I used smbclient as 
an unprivileged user on the server itself.
I could run it as root or run it on another machine or use a Windows 
client or connect to a service which is authenticating with Samba 
through PAM... I always get the same incoherent behaviour.
