[Samba] Netbios Browsing with 4.1.7 - Can I get some clarification on how to use "internal nbt server" (or if I am even able to)

The resources you found are correct, there is no network browsing with a 
samba 4 AD DC server, but you can connect to a share via 
\\servername\sharename.
