[Samba] using git to stay current

I think that if you want to use the latest stable release, then do just 
that, use the latest tarball, which at the moment is this: 
http://ftp.samba.org/pub/samba/stable/samba-4.1.9.tar.gz

Using git seems like a good idea, but git could be broken, not saying it 
is, but it could be, git by its very nature is likely to be unstable.
