What is 192.168.1.6 ? Is it the server or some other machine?

Is LINUX as machine name, workgroup name or domain name? Is the
samba server a WINS server? It looks like some other machine may be
claiming a machine name , or the master browser for a workgroup or
domain , that your samba server also claims.

Can you do a packet capture?
