samba eXPerience 2013 - call for papers
---------------------------------------
The SAMBA 4 birthday event!
From May 14th to 17th 2013 developers and users will meet again in
Goettingen, Germany at the 12th international SAMBA conference, the
"samba eXPerience 2013".
The first Linux distro released with SAMBA 4 with an Active Directory
controller included is of course the highlight of this event! With SAMBA 4
Linux comes back to small and medium networks with full control on Windows
clients via AD. A one day tutorial on Tuesday before the conference will
deliver hands-on know-how for this scenario - including groupware
integration with "Zarafa" or "Exchange" and Linux based software
deployment with "opsi".
Of course the long standing topics CTDB and clustering will again be part of
the presentations - all around the buszzword "private cloud infrastructure".
A BarCamp on Friday will be the closing event with the opportunity to talk
to the team in self defined workshop and breakout sessions.
The call for papers and early bird registration are open until February
28th 2013. Please find all necessary information at the conference site:
http://sambaXP.org
For detailed information about the conference topics refer to the section
"Call for Papers" on the website.
Chairman of the sambaXP is again John Terpstra, early SAMBA Team member
and well known author regarding SAMBA and related fields.
The conference is kindly supported by Google.
