I have sssd working with Samba4 on CentOS 6 clients, using service 
discovery to locate the DC's. No winbind. No problems with it in several 
months now. I also run an OpenLDAP server on port 390 on the DC's for 
automount maps, netgroups, etc (I had trouble loading the relevant 
schema's into S4, so took the easy way out).
