[Samba] What PAM service is used when compiled --with-pam ?

What PAM 'service' is used when using --with-pam?  For example, sshd
with PAM support uses the 'sshd' PAM service/configuration in /etc/
pam.d/sshd (Linux).

I can't find mention of it anywhere.
