[Samba] SMB shares size on a Linux system

Hi all,
Is there a maximum share size that SMB will allow for a Windows host
to access. We are using Samba 3.0.20b on a Linux 2.6.20 system.
When we create a share of size 1.5TB on this system, we observe that
after copying around 500GB of data into this share from a Windows XP
system, the network mapped drive gets connected successfully. But then
quickly gets disconnected when we try to copy around another 3GB of
data into that.
Is there any upper limit on the data size per share that Samba will
ever support? Or is this one of those Windows registry settings or
something that needs to be tweaked...
Thanks,
Srini
