[Samba] winbindd with 2 samba pdc's

To get one samba PDC to interdomain trust another samba PDC, do I need 
winbind to work?
if so, one of the steps to run winbind is to join the PDC from the 
trusting domain (another PDC), can one PDC join another PDC?? or am i 
getting this all wrong??
