[Samba] Dos Client Samba. Log level 7

The smb.conf
        oplocks = No
        level2 oplocks = No
        include = /etc/samba/smb.conf.%U


here is the include for the user desc1, the DOS machine.

  dos filetime resolution = yes
  use sendfile = no
  log level = 7
  log file = /var/log/samba.log.%U
  max log size = 50
  debug timestamp = yes

I guess that the only information that i obtain is that the client reset the connection but i cannot find why
The only that can I try is that with a PIII 700Mhz with an onboard Intel ethernet card  (E100B driver), and it works fine.The same machine with a Realtek 8139 PCI card fails (RTSND driver)
But i need to use some old Pentium machines, with  only ISA BUS.
Downgrade to Samba 2.x will help?
