[Samba] Inkjet printers and samba

Using shared windows printers (win xp typically) I can ususally printer from a linux/unix machine running samba.  Most lasers work.  There is a breed of inket printers that will not work though.  You can pause the printer on the windows end and you will see the printjob, but it will not print when you resume.  I am currently working with a Dell Photo 924.  Any ideas on what it would take to make this thing print?
