A good tip? Yes. :)
unix passwd sync
Check smb.conf manpage. But I'm afraid it will not solve
the entire problem and AFAIK, there is no way of sync from UNIX
to SAMBA (I remember some webmails using different tools to do
the job, but I don't know if there is a PAM module to do that or
something in that sense).
