[Samba] Samba auth to LDAP or AD(kerberos)

Hello all,
 
I am looking to see what is the best way to do authentication for samba,
would it be best via ldap(eDirectory) or AD(Kerberos)?  All the account
names on the Linux samba server are the same accounts that exists on AD.
We do have an LDAP server with the same accounts on them as well.  All I
am needing is to simply authenticate a user so that we do not have to
use smbpass.  Thanks everyone
