[Samba] copy error "big" files

Hi

samba running on suse 10 with a client XP professional.
I can transfer files from suse to xp normally.
but writing to a suse share from XP I can only copy small files (~1k).
files big as 500 k getting an error message   "Error. Path is too extent...
