[Samba] how to make sure XP clients are loading NTConfig.POL

I created an NTConfig.POL with poledit and placed it in my netlogon 
directory.  How can I make sure my clients are loading it?  I grepped 
for NTConfig.POL in /var/log/samba/* but didn't get any results.
