[Samba] MS Access macro's running very slowly

Hi Simon,
I have programs that run in VB.NET and use Access libraries to process
data in Access files.
I don't use the Access files themselves to run the scripts.
The previous Samba version I had was 3.06
I recently upgraded to 3.20b
After the upgrade the programs started running slower and what usually
took 30-40 minutes now takes 1-1.5 hours.

The other thing was that some scripts that were working with Access
files started crashing all of a sudden.
After 4-5 runs the crashes stopped and it seems fine now. I could not
pinpoint the reasons for crashes, but it felt like the file server was
"going away".

My guess is that the extra delay was introduced between 3.06 and 3.10. 
I am sorry that I can't provide more info on the subject. This is just
one of those "me too" messages. :)

I would really want to know if there is solution for the slowdowns or an
explanation. 
I could not find anything that would explain the behavior.
